چکیده
Tescalcin (TESC) has been shown to be essential in mammalian cells as a regulator of intracellular Ca2+. Ca2+ is second messenger functioning many metabolic pathways well cell differentiation, size and the cycle. K562 over-expressing TESC change their morphology adopt adherent properties. Considering differences may have reflected changes cytoskeleton, we focused on expression levels keratins, which are cytoskeletal intermediate filaments epithelial also expressed K562. We over-expressed gene via lentiviral transduction analyzed keratin 8 (K8), 18 (K18), 19 (K19) expression.

study of inosine triphosphate pyrophosphohydrolase gene expression in k562 cells
objective: the itpa gene is responsible to remove free deaminated purine nucleotides of itp, ditp and xtp from nucleotide pool of the cells. it seems that dysfunction in its activity, not only can increas the base substitution mutations frequency but also can works as a contrived factor to creating instability in genetic materials of the cells. there are several reports about the existence of s...
متن کاملRetinoids strongly and selectively correlate with keratin 13 and not keratin 19 expression in cutaneous warts of renal transplant recipients.
OBJECTIVE To compare the expression of keratin (K) 13 and K19 in cutaneous warts of renal transplant recipients (RTRs) and immunocompetent individuals (ICIs). DESIGN Retrospective, nonrandomized immunohistochemical study. PATIENTS AND METHODS Specimens from cutaneous warts of RTRs and ICIs were retrieved from the archives of the Department of Pathology, University Medical Center St Radboud,...
متن کاملHuman hepatocellular carcinomas with "Stemness"-related marker expression: keratin 19 expression and a poor prognosis.
UNLABELLED There is a recently proposed subtype of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) that is histologically similar to usual HCC, but characterized by the expression of "stemness"-related markers. A large-scale study on two different cohorts of HCCs was performed to investigate the clinicopathologic features and epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT)-related protein expression status of this subt...

Objectives—About 7000 tonnes of unleaded petrol were discharged into the English Channel after a tanker collision oV Ostend on Saturday 18 January 1997. The petrol evaporated and the vapour plume was carried across the central part of England to Wales, resulting in reports of unidentified odours, and irritation of the eyes, skin, and upper respiratory tract. This work uses this incident to show...
متن کاملHyperglycemia- Induced NF-κB Activation Increases microRNA-146a Expression in Human Umbilical Vein Endothelial Cells
Background & objectives: Nuclear Factor kappa B (NF-κB), a master switch transcription factor, plays a critical role in the progression and development of hyperglycemia-induced microangiopathy. Hyperglycemia activates NF-κB, and subsequently increases pro-inflammatory cytokines such as TNF-α, IL-6 and IL-1β leading to development of inflammation. Some new studies have revealed the involvement o...
